At Les Secrets de la Nature, the idea is not to overload the stay, but to offer enough possibilities to enjoy the estate: playing, walking, fishing, gardening, sharing time outside or gathering around activities that are accessible to everyone.
On site
The estate makes it possible to enjoy a nature stay in Dordogne without constantly having to go out. On site, guests can enjoy the ponds, the games room, the pétanque court, the small children’s play area, the outdoor spaces, the vegetable garden, the forest, the shaded corners that make the days pleasant even in summer, and the immediate proximity of many Terra Aventura trails.
These activities work just as well for family holidays as for weekends with friends, family reunions, family meals, countryside birthdays, all-inclusive stays or company days. Everyone can build their own rhythm: activity, relaxation, shared meals and quiet time.
The two ponds on the estate offer a genuinely peaceful moment on site. The water is home to fish including roach, perch and carp, for guests who enjoy fishing quietly during their stay. Fishing is allowed on a no-kill basis, with the fish released back into the water and treated with respect.
Billiards, table football, darts and a welcoming social space help extend the good times together, whether you are staying as a family, with friends or as part of a group stay.
Children can also enjoy a small play area on site, with swing, slide, little cabins, walkways and corners where they can play freely. It is a real plus for families looking for a simple stay with activities available without leaving the estate.
The estate has a real pétanque court, with boules provided. It is an essential activity for a weekend with friends, a family reunion, a countryside birthday or a team day in the countryside.
On site, you can also enjoy short walks, the edges of the ponds, the forest and, in summer, hammocks installed under the trees for reading, resting or simply enjoying the cool shade.
Two walking starts are accessible directly from the estate, and marked mountain-bike trails can also be reached nearby. It is a good way to discover the surroundings without spending too much time on the road.
The estate is particularly popular with families who enjoy Terra Aventura. Many geocaching trails are very quickly accessible around Savignac-Lédrier, with many others within about 20 minutes. Some guests even come partly for that reason.
The permaculture vegetable garden is part of the identity of the place. Depending on the season, guests may discover the harvests, leave with a small vegetable basket and, for some stays, pick directly on site.
For groups
For a birthday, a family reunion, a weekend with friends, a family meal or a company day, on-site activities are a real advantage. They naturally fill the stay without making it rigid, while keeping a relaxed and warm atmosphere.
The estate is also popular with families who come to discover the surrounding area: Terra Aventura works very well alongside the activities offered on site, with many nearby trails that are easy to include during the stay.
